Mission Statement

The Honolulu Sertoma Club is organized exclusively for charitable purposes, including but not limited to, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code (or corresponding section of any future federal tax code), scholarship grants, and projects to serve and improve the community. The Honolulu Sertoma Club serves the community directly and also through the George B. Carter Serteens Club of Hawaii, a trade name of the Honolulu Sertoma Club. The Honolulu Sertoma Club performs charitable community service projects, including but not limited to, hearing safety and hearing health projects as part of Sertoma Inc.'s hearing charity mission. The Honolulu Sertoma Club's primary charitable mission is providing leadership training, mentorship, educational seminars, scholarships and community service opportunities to Hawaii's Gifted and Talented Youth.
