Mission Statement

HCRN provides assistance to individuals, families and communities following disaster. Our organization serves in all phases of the disaster providing immediate assistance to long term recovery. HCRN does not charge for our services and does not discriminate in providing our services. We serve in three main areas: In the relief phase of the disaster, HCRN provides direct assistance to individuals affected through gift cards and supplies; we also train and mentor local community leaders as they begin the process of recovery. HCRN provides mentorship to long term recovery groups across the State of California. In the recovery phase, HCRN is the only volunteer disaster recovery organization that is rebuilding full-time in California for disaster survivors. HCRN mobilizes volunteer teams for the labor force for rebuilding. Our construction managers oversee the rebuilding work and ensure that all work meets or exceeds state and local building codes.
