Mission Statement

HOPE FOR FAMILIES AND CHILDREN FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO FUNCTION AS THE SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION AND FUNDRAISING ARM OF THE PUERTO RICAN FAMILY INSTITUTE, A NOT-FOR-PROFIT, MULTI-PROGRAM HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES ORGANIZATION WHICH PROMOTES THE SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND WELL-BEING OF FAMILIES AND CHILDREN IN NEED. FOR THE COMMUNITIES THAT THE PUERTO RICAN FAMILY INSTITUTE SERVES THE FOUNDATION'S FUNDS ARE DEDICATED TO SUPPORT THE INSTITUTE'S SERVICE PROGRAMS FOR DIVERSE POPULATIONS AND TO ENSURE THE SURVIVAL OF THE PUERTO RICAN FAMILY INSTITUTE FOR GENERATIONS TO COME.
