Mission Statement

The Hyder Community Association exists exclusively for the "betterment" of the community of Hyder, Alaska. There is a community building which contains a library, a meeting room, administration office, fire hall, and office space for the US Forest Service. Road maintenance is performed on the state owned road and snow removal is done on side streets and driveways. A small landfill and burn unit is provided for trash.
