THIS LOCAL IS DEDICATED TO THE PRINCIPLES OF TRADE UNIONISM. ITSOBJECTIVES ARE TO UNITE ALL WORKERS WITHIN ITS JURISDICTION FOR THEFOLLOWING PURPOSES: (A) TO IMPROVE THEIR WAGES AND HOURS OF WORK, TOINCREASE THEIR JOB SECURITY AND TO BETTER THEIR WORKING CONDITIONS; (B)TO ADVANCE THEIR ECONOMIC, SOCIAL AND CULTURAL INTERESTS; (C) TOESTABLISH PEACEFUL AND HARMONIOUS RELATIONS BETWEEN ITS MEMBERS AND THEIREMPLOYERS, AND TO INCREASE THE STABILITY OF THE INDUSTRY; (D) TO ASSUREFULL EMPLOYMENT; (E) TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT DEMOCRACY AND FREE TRADEUNIONISM; (F) TO ENGAGE IN SUCH OTHER ACTIVITIES AS MAY BE NECESSARY ORPROPER TO STRENGTHEN THE LABOR MOVEMENT AND TO EXTEND THE PROCESS OFCOLLECTIVE BARGAINING THROUGHOUT ALL TRADES AND INDUSTRIES.
