Mission Statement

The primary purpose is to obtain public and private funds for cultural and communal activities that promote close collaboration and partnership between residents of the Reservoir Hill neighborhood of Baltimore and the members of Beth Am Synagogue; to obtain public and private funds for the conservation, preservation, and renovation of the historic Beth Am Synagogue structure for use by synagogue members as a house of prayer, study and of meeting, and for use by Reservoir Hill residents as a meeting place for community events; to facilitate social justice causes within the Reservoir Hill neighborhood, working in conjunction with the Reservoir Hill Improvement Council and other community and civic groups active in the neighborhood.
