INDIANA CENTER FOR MIDDLE EAST PEACE (ICMEP) IS AN INDEPENDENT NON-SECTARIAN CENTER DEDICATED TO EDUCATING FOR PEACE WITH JUSTICE AND PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR INTER-CULTURAL ENCOUNTERS LOCALLY AND GLOBALLY. THROUGH ITS PROGRAMS, ICMEP: (1) PROVIDES CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF THE CULTURES, MOVEMENTS, AND ISSUES IN THE MIDDLE EAST THAT IMPACT THE ENTIRE GLOBE, AS WELL AS THE US POLITICAL, ECONOMIC, SOCIAL AND RELIGIOUS IMPACT ON THOSE CULTURES, MOVEMENTS, AND ISSUES; (2) BREAKS DOWN STEREOTYPES; (3) CHALLENGES INTOLERANCE, INJUSTICE, AND PREJUDICE IN ALL ITS FORMS; AND (4) PROMOTES STRATEGIES OF NON-VIOLENT CONFLICT RESOLUTION, SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION, AND SUSTAINABLE PEACE. WE ARE A VOICE OF CONSCIENCE FOR PEACE, JUSTICE, HUMAN RIGHTS, AND INTERCULTURAL UNDERSTANDING.
