To Sponsor, promote and encourage the performing arts and in particular the operatic art form; to encourage the development of young dramatic operatic singers regardless of their economic or educational backgrounds; to promote educational activities in connection with, and to encourage the study of the performing arts and opera in particular; and to promote understanding and appreciation of the performing arts and in particular opera.
