THE MUSEUM'S MISSION IS REALIZED IN THREE WAYS: 1) THROUGH COLLECTIONS, EXHIBITIONS AND INTERPRETATIONS OF AMERICAN AND GLOBAL HISTORY; 2) THROUGH INNOVATIVE STEM, HISTORY, AND LEADERSHIP EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS; AND 3) BY THE INTEGRAL ROLE THE MUSEUM PLAYS IN THE LOCAL AND NATIONAL COMMUNITY, HOSTING A WIDE RANGE OF PUBLIC CULTURAL EVENTS AND PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH, FAMILIES, SENIOR CITIZENS, FAMILIES IN TRANSITIONAL HOUSING, VETERANS AND THE MEN AND WOMEN IN SERVICE TO OUR NATION.
