The Iowa Police Chiefs Association IPCA works with other statewide law enforcement and public safety associations to promote professional standards within the state of Iowa. Members are encouraged to network throughout the year in addition to attending the quarterly business meetings. Shared concerns experiences and ideas have provided the genesis for effective problem solving. IPCA members are routinely used as a resource by individual cities the Iowa League of Cities the Iowa Legislature the Governor's Office the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy and the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
