The Italian Educational and Cultural Center (IECC) has a two-fold mission. To provide access to quality programs and exhibits in the visual, performing and cultural arts and to assist Italian social services agency, Patronato Acli (PA), provide social services to senior citizens of low and moderate income residing in Jersey City and Hudson County. The arts programs consist of high quality art exhibits, music concerts, book readings and other cultural events. In the area of Social services, IECC provides consultant services to PA personnel. These services include securing Social Security pensions from the Italian Government, securing pensions under special agreement between the USA and Italy, providing immigration guidance relating to Alien Registration cards, application and guidance for US naturalization, guidance to dual citizenship, providing paralegal services and guidance on legal matters, and providing medical guidance, including referrals to physicians and making appointments.
