The mission of Janie's Angels is to disrupt the cycle of incarceration for mothers and their children who are experiencing maternal incarceration and to build a brighter future for families impacted by maternal incarceration. We envision a world where maternal incarceration is not a life sentence for the mother or the child. Where every mother and child touched by Janie's Angels is able to flourish emotionally and socially, serving as a beacon of resilience and positivity within the community. By laying the foundation of strong relationships and providing consistent, holistic and long-term support, we strive to disrupt the cycle and create a brighter, more hopeful future.
