THE FUND'S MISSION IS TO ASSIST CREWMEMBERS AND THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM A SEVERE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, USUALLY RESULTING FROM THE OCCURRENCE OF AN UNFORESEEN CATASTROPHIC EVENT.
