THE PRINCIPAL GOALS OF JUNEAU CLIMBING AND RECREATION ARE TO PROMOTE PHYSICAL EDUCATION FOR OUR YOUTH AND OTHER MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY AND ENCOURAGE INDOOR CLIMBING TO IMPROVE PERSONS STRENGTH, BALANCE, CONFIDENCE AND PHYSICAL FITNESS. WE MAINTAIN A HIGH DEGREE OF FLEXIBILITY IN OVERSEEING THE ROCK DUMPS SPACE TO PROVIDE GREATER OPPORTUNITIES AND RESPOND TO THE COMMUNITYS EVER-GROWING INTERESTS, ESPECIALLY TO PROVIDE A SAFE INDOOR SPACE THAT PROMOTES PHYSICAL ACTIVITY DESPITE ALASKAS INCLEMENT WEATHER.
