THE ORGANIZATION WAS FORMED TO 1) FOSTER AND PROMOTE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR TENNIS COMPETITION AND DEVELOP AMATEUR ATHLETES FOR THAT COMPETITION BY PROVIDING INSTRUCTION AND EQUIPMENT; 2) PROMOTE THE SPORT OF TENNIS TO ECONOMICALLY UNDERPRIVILEGED AND OTHER CHILDREN IN THE METROPOLITAN WASHINGTON D.C.
