Keep Homewood Public is a broad coalition of West Shore Lake Tahoe locals small businesses and second homeowners working towards the preservation protection and conservation of public recreational spaces in the West Shore of Lake Tahoe for current and future generations. As a Lake Tahoe grassroots community organization we strive to preserve and enhance the character scale environment and historical significance of the West Shore especially as it relates to Homewood Mountain and surrounding area. We act as a resource to the community and use our collaborative efforts with residents and visitors to achieve a positive impact on the West Shores environment and neighborhoods promoting sustainable development and policies that enhance our natural resources and the beauty of the Lake Tahoe area. In these efforts we work or will work in coordination with regional planning and conservation agencies and other non-profit organizations including but not limited to The League
