KENTUCKY PHARMACY EDUCATION & RESEARCH FOUNDATION IS A NONPROFIT PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION WHOSE GOALS ARE TO PROVIDE EDUCATION ACCREDITATION AND CONTINUING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR KENTUCKY PHARMACISTS TO MEET THEIR ANNUAL CE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED BY THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY, PROMOTE THE PROFESSION OF PHARMACY, ENHANCE THE PRACTICE STANDARDS OF THE PROFESSION, AND DEMONSTRATE THE VALUE OF PHARMACISTS SERVICES WITHIN THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM. THE FOUNDATION ALSO OVERSEES AND ADMINISTERS VARIOUS PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE PHARMACEUTICALS AND SUPPORT SERVICES THROUGHOUT KENTUCKY IN TIMES OF DISASTERS AND EMERGENCIES.
