Mission Statement

KOOTENAI HEALTH PROMOTES COMMUNITY HEALTH THROUGH AN OPEN MEDICAL STAFF, A COMMUNITY-BASED BOARD, AND REINVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS INTO HEALTH PROGRAMS, FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS, AND TARGETED SUPPORT FOR RURAL AND UNDERSERVED AREAS. THE HOSPITAL IMPLEMENTS INITIATIVES IN PREVENTIVE CARE, CHRONIC DISEASE MANAGEMENT, AND HEALTH EDUCATION FOR UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS.
