WE ARE COMMITTED TO FOSTERING RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN PARENTS, LEGAL GUARDIANS, STAFF, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO ADVANCE OUR PROGRAM. WE ENABLE MEMBERS TO SPEAK WITH A COMMON VOICE ON MATTERS PERTAINING TO THE PROFESSION AND TO PRESENT OUR COMMON INTERESTS BEFORE THE LAKE COUNTY BOARD OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES (OHIO)AND OTHER LEGAL AUTHORITIES. WE DEVELOP AND PROMOTE A CONTINUING PROGRAM TO IMPROVE SALARY, FRINGE BENEFITS, WORKING CONDITIONS, JOB SECURITY AND ENCOURAGE THE ADOPTION OF ETHICAL PRACTICES, PERSONNEL POLICIES, AND STANDARDS OF PREPARATION AND PARTICIPATION WHICH MARK A PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM.
