Mission Statement

LAZERA provides human-centered outreach advocacy support services and programs for marginalized communities in Northern Virginia with their primary focus on the Mt. Vernon Franconia Districts along Richmond Highway in Fairfax County VA. The LAZERA Ministries Community Health Collective is comprised of three 3 programs that are culturally relevant and incorporate traditional healing practices such as yoga meditation sound therapy and group social enrichment activities to help facilitate a reduction in the number of individuals who experience anxiety depression isolation or suicidal thoughts influenced by their environment socioeconomic status or lived experience as members of marginalized communities. Our four programs are Healing Circles UBUNTU ASA Youth Leadership Program Keeping It Real womens support group and Community Engagement & Survivor Support.
