THE MISSION OF THE FOUNDATION IS FUNDING EXCEPTIONAL PROGRAMS THAT ENHANCE THE END OF LIFE JOURNEY FOR PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES THROUGHOUT SAN DIEGO.TYPICAL PAYORS OF HOSPICE & PALLIATIVE CARE PAY FOR BENEFITS THAT INCLUDE A CORE GROUP OF MEDICAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL CARE SERVICES. HOWEVER, THOSE PLANS DO NOT PROVIDE FOR THE CREATIVE AND THEREPUTIC INTERVENTIONS THAT THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES AND HAVE A PROFOUND IMPACT ON THE LIVES OF PATIENTS AND THEIR LOVED ONES.THE FOUNDATION ALSO FUNDS CARE & SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE UNABLE TO PAY FOR END-OF-LIFE HOSPICE CARE.
