Mission Statement

Established in 1991, for purposes charitable, literary, and educational, the Lincoln Library Foundation strives to focus attention on public library services in Springfield, IL. Through individual gifts, endowments, and bequests, the Foundation purchases materials for the public library, which serves a population of approximately 114,394 of which 34,567 are cardholders.
