Mission Statement

THE MISSION IS TO INCREASE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT SURGE CAPACITY BY PROVIDING MOBILE HIGH-QUALITY BASIC MEDICAL CARE DURING PERIODS OF EMERGENCY AND DISASTER AS A COMMUNITY SERVICE TO THE CITIZENS OF ACADIANA, THROUGHOUT LOUISIANA, AND BEYOND. LEMU WILL ALSO PROVIDE EDUCATION SERVICES AND PRIMARY CARE WHEN FEASIBLE.
