Mission Statement

Said corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501 (c) (3) of the internal Revenue Code or the correspondence section of any future tax code. The specific purpose of the corporation is to help and improve the lives of the Garifuna population. To support the health, education, and development of Garifuna's. To increase cultural and economic awareness in Garifuna communities and to improve the lives of current and future generations. This organization is composed of various Garifuna individuals' descendants of Limon who reside in New York, New Orleans, Houston, and Honduras. Each coalition will share the name of Lumalali Limu and the name of the city it represents. We help without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, or national origin.
