Mission Statement

The Lyon County Economic Development Consortium was formed to promote economic growth and enhance the general quality of life in Lyon County and within the cities of Lyon County. The Consortiums mission of implementing economic development projects within Lyon County is accomplished by advocating activities designed to retain commercial, industrial, retail and service businesses within the communities by helping existing businesses expand their employment, as well as increasing the employment base by marketing Lyon County in order to attract outside businesses into the communities. The primary program/assistance provided by the Consortium is the lending of monies to individuals and businesses located in Lyon County for various economic development projects at a reasonable rate of interest.
