The Maine Center for Creativitys mission is to promote the growth of the arts and creative industries in Maine. This is achieved by creating projects and programs that promote the arts and stimulate the economy by contributing to the growth of Maines creative industries and professions. We do this by:1) Creating high-visibility public art projects that capture the imagination and foster the art of the possible,2) Creating programming and networking that support people working in the creative industries, and3) Stimulating innovative enterprise and interaction through regional, national and international collaborations, partnerships and educational initiatives, which lead to increasing the import and export of innovation to/from Maine.
