Mission Statement

Mainely Rat Rescue's mission is to rehabilitate and find homes for surrendered or abandoned domestic rats, as well as to spread awareness, provide education, and furnish support for all the animals in its care. Other "pocket pets" such as guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, and mice are occasionally accepted into the program.
