THIS ASSOCIATION WAS CREATED TO ASSESS THE PHYSICAL, SOCIAL, ECONOMIC, AND INTELLECTUAL NEEDS OF THE SENIOR CITIZENS OF THE MARION AREA IN ORDER TO HELP DEVELOP MORE MEANINGFUL ACTIVITIES, PROGRAMS, AND SERVICES. THE ASSOCIATION SHALL, IN ADDITION TO OTHER ACTIVITIES, ORGANIZE FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF NEEDED AND DESIRABLE EQUIPMENT FOR THE USE OF THIS ASSOCIATION, PROVIDE SPECIAL PROGRAMS FOR THE BENEFIT, PLEASURE, AND RECREATION OF ITS PARTICIPANTS, AND VOLUNTEER SERVICE BY ITS PARTICIPANTS TO OTHER CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS.
