Mission Statement

THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO SUPPORT A MEMORIAL THAT PAYS TRIBUTE TO FALLEN SEAFARERS, THEIR FRIENDS AND FAMILIES, AND THE MARITIME INDUSTRY AS A WHOLE. THE MEMORIAL PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY TO HONOR THE COURAGEOUS MEN AND WOMEN WHO FORM THE HERITAGE OF THE UNITED STATES MERCHANT MARINE.
