PROVIDES A FORUM FOR THE INTERCHANGE OF ORAL AND WRITTEN IDEAS PERTAINING TO SCHOOL PUBLICATIONS AND TO AID IN THE PUBLISHING OF SUCH MATERIALS BY OFFERING VARIOUS CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS. MIPA IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING A FRAMEWORK WITHIN WHICH MICHIGAN JUNIOR HIGH, MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND HIGH SCHOOL JOURNALISM STUDENTS, TEACHERS, AND ADVISORS CAN EXCHANGE IDEAS TO FURTHER THE PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS OF JOURNALISM EDUCATION.
