Mission Statement

To engage in and conduct charitable, educational, and scientific activities, and to further such activities as may be deemed advisable for the advancement and improvement of health care generally an in the Bath-Brunswick, Maine area in particular. To assist Mid Coast Hospital (an organization exempt from tax as an organization described under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code) to carry out its tax-exempt functions.To coordinate activities of Mid Coast Hospital and other affiliated organizations engaged in health care activities (the "operating corporations") which may include management, the establishment of fiscal policy, long-range planning, public information and fund-raising for the betterment of the general health.
