MMIW-Chahta provides support and advocacy for Indigenous individuals affected by violence disappearance and systemic trauma Services include legal retainer assistance hotel support domestic violence advocacy and budgeting In the year we served over 100 individuals and supported families of murder victims through advocacy and direct aid We hosted a Womens Conference to raise awareness 2300 and conducted a community self-defense training 5000 In total we led five trainings provided ongoing case support and continue to raise awareness through outreach and public education
