IN DOING SO, THE ASSOCIATION STRIVES TO IMPROVE MUNICIPAL SELF-GOVERNANCE IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA. ADDITIONALLY THE ASSOCIATION SEEKS TO FOSTER CLOSER TIES BETWEEN ITSELF AND HIGHER GOVERNMENT ENTITES IN ORDER TO OBTAIN LEGISLATION THAT WOULD ALLOW MEMBER TOWNSHIPS TO FUNCTION MORE EFFECTIVELY.
