Resident and day camps, each held for one week (Camp Emanuel) offer an annual opportunity for approximately 20 children who are hearing and language impaired or developmentally disabled to interact with typical (non-disabled) children in a recreational atmosphere to enhance communication, self-esteem and acceptance as individuals.
