Mission Statement

The mission of More Than Bootstraps (MTB) is to build a community of first-generation, low-income (FGLI), underrepresented students who empower each other to access and succeed in higher education. MTB promotes college access and success by providing high school students with near-peer mentors (current college students from the community) and financial assistance from their junior year of high school through their college years.
