NAMI LANSING PROVIDES EDUCATION, SUPPORT, AND ADVOCACY TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES AFFECTED BY MENTAL ILLNESS. WE ARE REPRESENTED ON THE TRI-COUNTY STEERING COMMITTEE FOR CRISIS INTERVENTION TRAINING FOR FIRST RESPONDERS AND OTHER COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS. WE PROVIDE INFORMATION TO POLICYMAKERS REGARDING POLICY NEEDED TO IMPROVE TREATMENT AND OUTCOMES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH MENTAL ILLNESS.
