Mission Statement

The Museum's mission is to encourage and promote the appreciation of fine art to people in its surrounding communities and beyond. The Museum is dedicated to fostering a deeper understanding of the arts, with particular emphasis on the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries, to enhancing and adding to its outdoor sculpture garden, to widening the appeal of the Art Space for children, to continuing to improve its historic gardens and to keeping an active schedule of exhibitions and educational programs for people of all ages and backgrounds.
