Mission Statement

The National Habeas Institute was founded (1) to identify and affect change in problematic areas of the American legal system through education, litigation, and creative systemic reform; and (2) to do and all lawful acts that may be necessary, useful, suitable, or proper for the furtherance or accomplishment of the purpose of the Corporation.
