THROUGH ITS EDUCATION PROGRAMS, THE CENTER STRENGTHENS TEACHING ON THE COLLEGIATE AND PRE-COLLEGIATE LEVELS. THROUGH PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT INTIMATELY LINKED TO ITS SCHOLARLY AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, THE CENTER PROMOTES UNDERSTANDING OF THE HUMANITIES AND THEIR FOUNDATIONAL ROLE IN A DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY.
