SPECIFICALLY, NCCR ADVOCATES LEGISLATION WHICH WILL ENHANCE AND EXPAND BASIC, INFRASTRUCTURE, AND REIMBURSEMENT MECHANISMS THAT ARE IN PLACE TO SUPPORT THE TRANSLATION OF RESEARCH FROM THE LABORATORY TO THE BEDSIDE.
