TO FOSTER THE GROWTH OF VOLUNTEER-BASED CHAPTERS TO ASSIST NEIGHBORS IN CRISIS, PRIMARILY BY PROVIDING RESOURCES AND SUPPORT TO EMPOWER CHAPTERS TO BUILD AND SUSTAIN LOCAL VOLUNTEER NETWORKS THAT HELP FAMILIES IN TIME OF CRISIS, SUCH AS ILLNESS, SERIOUS INJURY, OR TRAGIC EVENTS.
