The Nelson Resource Center is a local community and educational outreach foundation working to serve the growing needs of the Lauderdale County community. Our mission is to help strengthen the community by supporting events that bring families & the community together and to develop programs that help to improve literacy education and career training. We currently offer several literacy programs: 1 Youth Leadership Camp AfterSchool Program 2 Summer Enrichment Program Summer Camp 3 Our Family Reads Family Literacy & 4 Adult Career Readiness Program.
