OUR MEMBERSHIP IS UNITED IN PURSUIT OF IMMEDIATE AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTS TO THE STATE'S EDUCATION SYSTEM. WE SUPPORT AN AMBITIOUS, AGRESSIVE AND COMPREHENSIVE REFORM AGENDA TO DRAMATICALLY INCREASE THE COLLEGE AND WORKFORCE READINESS OF ALL STUDENTS, AND NOW IS THE TIME FOR BOLD AND DECISIVE ACTION. OUR ACTIONS AND TACTICS ARE FOCUSED IN THREE AREAS: (1) INFORM THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY OF THE EDUCATION CRISIS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO REFORM THE SYSTEM; (2) INFLUENCE THE STATE'S EDUCATION AGENDA AND CREATE THE CONDITIONS FOR STATEWIDE REFORM BY LEVERAGING THE POWER OF THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY; AND, (3) IMPROVE PUBLIC EDUCATION SYSTEMS BY INFUSING A BUSINESS-LIKE APPROACH TO EDUCATION REFORM.
