TO ENCOURAGE FRIENDLY COMPETITION IN GOLF AMONG SENIOR PLAYERS, HOLD TOURNAMENTS ANNUALLY AT NEW ENGLAND CLUBS THAT ARE MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING OF THE USGA AND FOSTER THE GAME OF GOLF IN THE SPIRIT AND TRADITION OF THE USGA.
