Mission Statement

The New Jersey Striders Inc NJ Striders is a 501c3 organization located in Northern New Jersey with members in New Jersey and New York The NJ Striders organizes and runs youth track and field competitions in the spring and summer and cross country competitions in the fall There are six competitions in the spring four in the summer and three to four in the fall The competitions are for athletes between the ages of seven 7 and fourteen 14 The NJ Striders members are recreation and youth track clubs There are currently sixteen members and several other track clubs come to compete in NJ Striders meets The NJ Striders are a proud member of USA Track Field USATF and annually participates in the USATF Junior Olympics competition NJ Striders athletes generally make up approximately forty percent of the entries in the USATF New Jersey State Meet
