TO SUPPORT THE MISSION OF INDEPENDENTLY-GOVERNED COMMUNITY COLLEGES IN NEW MEXICO. SUPPORT IS PROVIDED THROUGH THE ADVOCACY OF A LIMITED AGENDA OF ISSUES DEEMED CRITICAL TO ITS MEMBER INSTITUTIONS. THE NMICC AGENDA GENERALLY FOCUSES ON FUNDING ISSUES AND IS DETERMINED BY MEMBER INSTITUTIONS THROUGH A CONSENSUS-BUILDING PROCESS. NMICC PROMOTES SOCIAL WELFARE BY ADVOCATING FOR ITS MEMBERS AND OBTAINING NEEDED FUNDING, WHICH ALLOWS THE MEMBERS TO DIRECTLY PROMOTE THE SOCIAL WELFARE.
