Mission Statement

THE MISSION OF THE NEW SALEM HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS TO ESTABLISH A LOCAL MUSEUM TO CREATE INTEREST IN PAST HISTORY AND TO PRESERVE IT FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS AND TO MAINTAIN HISTORICAL BUILDINGS.
