IT WILL HONOR THE RICH CULTURE OF THE PEOPLE OF HAMAKUA, INCLUDING BOTH THE INDIGENOUS POPULATIONS AND IMMIGRANT POPULATION WHO CAME TO WORK ON THE SUGAR PLANTATIONS, AS WELL AS HIGHLIGHTING AND EDUCATING ABOUT THE LOCAL HISTORIC BUILDINGS IN HONOKAA.
