The North Penn Ice Hockey Association was formed to provide the opportunity for students in the North Penn School District to participate in the sport of ice hockey. The Organization raises money thru fees charged to members who participate in the activity as well as certain fund-raising activities to defray a portion of the operating costs. Since the teams compete on behalf of the school the School District contributes certain sums toward the Organizations operations. Students who participate benefit as the activity enhances involvement in the community and the school while competing in an activity that teaches discipline organization and teamwork. The Organization began this activity following its incorporation on July 25 1996 and has continued annually to present. For the tax year ending 6 30 2024 the Organization has approximately 70 participants.
