Mission Statement

The Northeast Regional Education Service Alliance ("NERESA") was formed to assist the member school districts in Northeast North Carolina by providing services to assist those school districts in educating their students. The services provided include, without limitation: (1) serving as a liaison between the superintendents and other administrators of the member school districts in Northeast North Carolina and other educational entities and governmental agencies; (2) organizing and facilitating professional development opportunities for a wide range of staff, including administrators and teachers, within the member school districts; (3) providing training for its member school districts and their staff; (4) providing leadership conferences for its member school districts and their staff; and (5) recognizing a superintended of the year.
